This is where it all started. The most important yes uttered in the presence of just their two good friends in a calm quiet ceremony for just the two of them.
Stockholm City Hall Wedding Ceremony tends to be short & to the point. But that doesn't mean it can't be romantic!
To prolong and deepen that amazing feeling of "what just happened!?" we wandered around the City Hall for a bit and I documented couple's authentic moments as they processed the experience before we ventured into the city.

Once we said goodbye to the couple's friends we headed towards Gamla Stan. The couple was beautifully in their own bliss while I documented the moments as they unfolded.
It was a beautiful mix of quiet observation of what they intimately shared and playing around with guiding couple in a relaxed way to always encourage spontaneous moments to unfold.

The beauty of elopement or Stockholm City Hall Wedding is that you can make it into whatever you wish.
In this case we stoped at a cozy café in Gamla Stan for a celebratory fika and some warming up before hopping on a boat to finish the shoot at the viewpoint at Skeppsholmen where the couple got engaged! One big plus of taking a boat ride in the middle of January as part of your wedding adventure? We had the boat all to ourselves!
It was a wonderful finish to their unique wedding day, spent with romantic wandering around the city, celebrating what was theirs only.
