This was the message I received from one of my couples in July when they were deciding between a short basic couple photoshoot or experiencing my full cinematic vacation version as they travelled to Stockholm for the first time from The States.

what is a cinematic vacation photoshoot?

I get this question a lot. But let's just first clarify what it isn't. It isn't about posed pictures in beautiful places. The one where you're just taken to a famous Stockholm view and placed in front of it in a still pose directed to smile into a camera. Cinematic photoshoot is about candid, relaxed moments where you get to move around freely, putting focus on true storytelling. Instead of standing still and smiling for the camera, you get to move, explore, and connect naturally while I document the moments that unfold between you. Think of it as your own short film where both your unique interactions and Stockholm streets play a main role in a beautiful symbiosis.

Before we even meet and start shooting I send you my extensive Stockholm City Guide where you get to scroll through number of options for possible routes around Stockholm that are complimented with photos from my previous sessions that will give you a better idea of what all is possible. No vacation shoot is like the other because everything depends on who you are as a couple and what you enjoy. While some couples love to just get lost in the streets of Gamla Stan and stopping for a typical Swedish fika, others like to take even more adventurous approach and hop on a boat towards archipelago for a small hiking trip! There are no boundaries to what we can capture together.

On the day of the shoot we explore the route that you chose which takes about 2 hours and I document both in still images and cinematic video your time together. I ensure that your moments and experiences are spontaneous. The only thing that is calculated is how I navigate you through the route in order to always end up at the right place in the right time when it comes to the light.
