Craziet Message I ever Received...
Stockholm vacation photoshoot
If you're a fan of The US Netflix show Love is Blind then you might be recognising Amy & Johny from season 6. Amy reached out to me via instagram in the beginning of November as they were travelling through Nordics and she wanted ME to document their trip in Stockholm! I couldn't honestly believe it when I first saw her message!
As I later learnt, they both fell in love with my style and wanted to experience Stockholm through my adventure vacation photoshoot. So that's exactly what we did!
The Most magical Sunset
We met in front of the National Museum at the Skeppsholmen bridge and we hit it off right from the start! They were both incredibly warm & down to earth and went with all of my suggestions, completely surrendering to the present moment and our breathtaking city that really delivered on its magic that afternoon.
The seagulls came to play on the water as the sun was setting over Gamla Stan and I couldn't stop pressing the shutter to capture it all!

Wandering through The City of Islands
When I talked to Amy before the session about the locations to explore during the photoshoot she expressed her wish of seeing the typical Stockholm but left the details to me. I thought about her words the whole week. What is typical Stockholm? The truth is that when you're a first time comer there's SO MUCH to experience from the "typical Stockholm". For some photographers, the first thought would be Gamla Stan. And while I absolutely love to shoot in our old town, I also think in certain instances, it can be a bit lazy plan.
To me, Stockholm is first and foremost about islands and bridges and water, the boat masses rocking in the wind, the sunset colouring the buildings into all hues of orange and brown. It's about boats going back and forth in between the islands of the city center. That was the Stockholm I wanted to show Amy & Johny. We were incredibly lucky with the light and Stockholm really delivered on its own magic!

Did you know...
Did you know...
...that Evening Stockholm is a Whole Other World?
...that Evening Stockholm is a Whole Other World?
We got off the boat at the edge of Gamla Stan just as the evening light was falling all over the city and started to walk through its narrow streets towards the tiny island of Riddarholmen.
What not a lot of people realise is that Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen have a special kind of atmosphere once the night falls and all the lamps turn on.
The narrow streets get emptier and more charismatic in the light of all the evening lamps, offering charms of mystery.
