That Little Bunny...
family photographer stockholm
This little bunny & its adorable owner were the stars of this photoshoot. I met this UK family in the beginning of October at one of the tiny beach streaks hidden in Solna and their little baby daughter Freya indulged us all in beach fun like it wasn't even a cold October evening!
She tapped around in sunset with her small feet, squeezing her plushy toy, cuddled with her parents and watched her dad mesmerised as he fed the ducks with her pancakes when they came to investigate us.
little moments - big stories
Observing how you love each other and how you spend those moments during our session together always inspires me on so many levels. As a passionate storyteller, I'm not just dedicated to tell your story visually. More often than not, I love to create what I like to call "Love Notes" - a few words of poetry dedicated to the essence of you inspired by either tiny moment that happened during your photoshoot or something I observed about you during.
Seeing how Alva carried her little bunny around, holding it close to her, these words just came to me as I was taking the photos...
When you're coming to the session with your little baby, don't underestimate their favourite stuffed animal, or a book, or anything that your child is infatuated with and brings them joy. Activities like sitting down together to read their favourite book during your photoshoot makes for incredible memories and photos.
Just think about how many times you sit down at home with them to play together. And how many times you see that stuffed teddy bear or a bunny wrapped in their tiny fingers as they learn how to stand up and walk towards you, or even reading their very first book that you've looked through hundred times together.
Now imagine you actually have these moments documented and you're right there in those moments (and photos) with them.♥

Cold October evening....or?
Cold October evening....or?
Little Freya was so fascinated with sandy beach, all the ducks around and the wooden pier that after a while when her little pants got soaked she had no problem to start tapping around with her feet naked, playing in the sand and splashing at the shore.
She made it look like it wasn't even cold October evening! Her parents happily indulged her and it contributed to even more special moments unfolding.
