I met this lovely family for the 6th time now, this time to celebrate their love, new marriage and their two kiddos.
They share my love for romantic evenings during sunset so we met in their favourite spot, Drottningholm, and made the photoshoot a bit fancier but still in relaxed fashion, taking most directions from the kids.
I took them to my secret spot just outside Drottningholm Palace gardens with open fields and grazing cows that created that idyllic countryside vibe.
Starting with the "In-between" Straight Away...
I snapped these few photos right in the beginning while the mom was changing into her photoshoot dress and dad was just blowing the bubbles to keep one of the kiddos occupied. As a documentary photographer who loves to capture real life, I love to observe your real moments from the second we meet. And the in-between is truly where all the gold is hiding and it's what is worth remembering...

Onto the Adventure
The whole evening was filled with bubbles and wondering, observing nature in that special way only kids know how, slowly and intentionally, I gave their older boy little directions and secret missions to surprise the parents with hugs and kisses in a fun way so that I could document their natural reactions and their true personalities.

Because Dan & Petra were freshly married, we took some time to document their relationship without the kids, creating a few moments where they could spend a few wholesome minutes with one another and celebrate what they built together as a couple.
